Your Fear Of Truth Is Real Fear

Your fear of truth is real fear:
admission of ones own lies
thrust upon those who hear
and believe evil with a cheer

The final curtain comes down hard
on a soul ravished by deceit
darkened heart of veins ripped and scarred
by the act of being a liar, coward and cheat

Your fear of truth is real fear:
climaxing in time when you must face
your life opposed to an honest career
loving the hate with a firm embrace

That climax when the truth shows to the world
all the lies and wasted values you proclaimed
not once, not twice, but daily your epitaphs hurled
at all those you hated and all those you blamed

Your fear of truth is real fear:
The simple proof adds to the scare
for in it you see the lies you hold so dear
Battered and cracked by your acts of despair

Your despair comes natural for those who think
they are superior to those whom they oppose
cold stare of hate, no love, no blink
translated into a pesticide of hate-filled prose

You fear it. You turn away, hands up, palms out
fighting against that moment of proof, for truth
the coming prolonged look of dismay, fully in doubt
on the edge of something that’s beyond your wasted youth

The end is near as you take the truth’s full force
Like a bullet shot to your empty skull
A shattered life of lies mirrored without remorse
Onto a brain that in the end is proven quite dull
